Bed & Breakfast

One of Andover ABC’s most successful fundraisers, the ABC Bed & Breakfast program offers unique, home-based lodging to parents of Phillips Academy students during two popular weekends - Parents Weekend (usually in October) and Graduation Weekend (usually the first weekend in June).

Friends of Andover ABC host an out-of-town PA parent or family in a guest bedroom for one or two nights. Although the host for the weekend usually offers breakfast, Phillips Academy also offers all meals so some visitors choose that option instead. The PA parents pay the going rate for hotel space in the form of a check to Andover ABC but they get a home environment, a location that is often closer to the school and get to meet a local family.

ABC has a program coordinator who matches guests and hosts to ensure the right mix of beds and to avoid any problems with pet allergies.
