Welcome to Andover A Better Chance
Scholars' Celebration Dinner 2013
What a beautiful and memorable night it was to honor our graduating senior, current scholars, staff, and the Andover A Better Chance Program's 2012-2013 achievements.
Over 250 people gathered for our third annual 5K Fun-Run & Walk on a beautiful Sunday morning. Top finishers: Todd Collins (M) 16:35, Emily Tremaine (F) 20:39, and Scott Diekema (U-18) 17:47. The money raised funds our operating expenses and enrichment programs. In addition, a donation is being made to the One Fund in honor of the victims of the Marathon Day attack.Click here for article, results, and photos.
Since 1967, Andover A Better Chance has been giving young, talented youth of color the opportunity to achieve their dreams through education.
Our nonprofit program offers outstanding students from under-performing urban schools the opportunity to prepare for college at Andover High School, one of Massachusetts' top performing schools. The Andover community generously supports our goal of changing young lives, one person at a time.
